Privacy Policy

This privacy policy describes how user information is handled in the iOS app "Grindly" (the "App"). The App is operated by the developer of Grindly (the "Developer").

1. No account required

The App does not require an account. The Developer does not collect information that directly identifies you, such as your name, email address, or phone number. Your training history, streaks, and other records are stored only on your device and are deleted when you remove the App.

2. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The App uses Google AdMob to show ads to users on the free plan. As part of this, Google may collect and use the following information:

• Advertising identifier (IDFA): used to serve personalized ads only if you grant permission through iOS App Tracking Transparency.
• Technical information such as ad impressions and interactions, approximate location, and device information.

In the European Economic Area (EEA) and other applicable regions, consent for advertising is collected through Google's consent management platform (UMP). You can change your tracking permission at any time in iOS under Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. For details, see the Google Privacy Policy.

3. Purchases (RevenueCat / Apple)

Subscription purchases (Grindly Pro) are processed through Apple's App Store, and subscription status is managed using services provided by RevenueCat, Inc. RevenueCat receives an anonymous user ID and purchase records (such as purchase date, plan, and price). Your name and credit card information are never sent to the Developer or RevenueCat. 4. Usage analytics (Google Analytics)

The App uses Google Analytics 4 (Google Analytics for Firebase) to improve features and diagnose issues. As part of this, Google may collect and use the following information:

• How the App is used (events such as screens viewed and actions taken)
• Device model, OS version, App version, and approximate location
• An identifier used for analytics (the app instance ID)

The Developer does not use this information to identify individuals or to serve ads. For details, see the Google Privacy Policy and Firebase Privacy and Security.

5. Server communication

The App communicates with the Developer's server (hosted on a cloud service) to fetch training content and similar data. The server does not store personal information such as your training history, but technical information such as IP addresses may be temporarily recorded in access logs as part of this communication. These logs are used only to prevent abuse and keep the service running reliably.

These providers may process data on servers in the United States and other countries.
